The mission of Will Close Studios is to create a greater connection between people, community, and nature.

Using my skills as a visual artist, naturalist, and craftsman, I aim to draw awareness to the bonds that connect all life.

With my artwork, I hope to awaken a curiosity and love for our wild neighbors and the shared relationships that tie us all together.

Each one of my notecards, boxed sets, and prints aim to share a little bit about these connections and the place we call home.

____________

I am an artist, designer, educator and naturalist who specializes in the intersection of nature, art, design, and teaching. I hold a degree in Fine Art Painting from Massachusetts College of Art and Design and studied wildlife track and sign under Dan Gardoqui and Daniel Hansche. Currently, I reside in Concord, MA where I maintain an artistic studio practice and am an outdoor education instructor with the Carroll School located in Lincoln, MA. My passion for nature illustration, tracking and sharing it with others, has taken me from the spruce forests of Maine to the Ecuadorian Amazon.
